Introducing Falcon™, Neela’s novel precision intra-CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) drug transport modeling platform.

Industry standard approaches to targeting the nervous system, such as bolus delivery to the lumbar spine, facilitate minimal brain penetration and cellular targeting, with inconsistent results that lead to poor therapeutic success. Furthermore, it is also important to optimize drug and buffer properties that allow for desired transport in the CSF.

Falcon™ allows for a systematic approach to developing intra-CSF drugs, including disease specific understanding of CSF-drug interactions, systematically optimizing drug dose, formulation and biodistribution, and maximizing success translating from animals to humans.
